The soundtrack of "... And Suddenly the Dawn", was created from some movements of two original works of the master Luis Advis, one of the most relevant Chilean composers of the 20th century. Both pieces, the Divertimento for Piano and Wind Quintet (1978) and the Quintet for Wind Instruments of (1994), were chosen by the director of the film years before beginning the actual filming of the movie. From this selection, the young composer Valentina Caiozzi worked first on the orchestration and the arrangements of these works. And later, in the creation of new compositions that, although they had to belong to the same sonic vision proposed by Advis, they also had to give other emotional shades to the film.
