CACHIMBA (2004)

Synopsis

Using an ironic and hilarious form of comedy, the film tells the story of the only relevant moment of the life of Marcos when, together with his girlfriend Hilda, they discover a collection of paintings of dubious artistic value at an age-old mansion.

The “Museum” and “Works of Art” are under the care of an unsociable, alcoholic, old man.

Our hero feels the need to take on the mission of revealing this “artistic treasure” and, just like a Latin American Don Quixote, Marcos will face all sorts of adventures and misfortunes when trying to save his discovery from the sudden interest of shady characters.

Marcos and Hilda will finally receive an unexpected gift from the old curator... and a secret... which will change their lives forever.
